Limits
Plans are sized by human events per month: Solo up to 10,000, Studio up to 100,000. Bot events do not count — see What counts.
Pause, never delete
The intended behavior at a limit is a pause, not a cutoff:
- The dashboard stops showing new numbers once you cross your monthly human-event limit.
- Ingestion is not intended to stop — events keep being recorded behind the pause.
- No data is deleted. When you upgrade, the full history for the paused period is there.
The point of the design is that hitting a limit costs you visibility, not data. You never come back from an upgrade to find a gap.
What to do at a limit
Upgrade the plan, and the paused period becomes visible again. If you are near a limit because of traffic you do not want counted — your own visits, a staging domain — exclude it (see Verify) rather than paying for events you did not want.
