What is Kymo

Kymo is a field instrument for web analytics. It answers two questions at once: who visited, and which AI systems are reading you.

The wedge

Search is moving into AI answers. When someone asks ChatGPT, Claude, or Perplexity about your subject, those systems crawl your pages, and sometimes cite them, and sometimes send a human your way. Classic analytics tools cannot see any of that — they only count people, and they lump every bot into one "traffic" bucket or drop it entirely.

Kymo makes AI visibility a first-class metric. It tells you which crawlers fetched which pages, separates a live per-question fetch from a bulk index sweep, and confirms when a real person actually clicked through from an AI answer. That is the part no cookie-based tool gives you.

What it also does

The ordinary analytics are all here, done cookielessly:

  • Pageviews, referrers, countries, devices, and a real-time visitor map.
  • Outbound clicks and goals — including revenue.
  • No cookies, no consent banner, no cross-site identifier.

How it works, in one line

One script tag on your site sends cookieless pageviews. Your server, or a thin snippet, forwards AI-crawler hits. Kymo classifies everything server-side and shows humans and machines side by side.
